Hilton’s lifestyle brand, Canopy by Hilton,  is a place in the neighborhood to relax and recharge, offering simple guest-directed service, comfortable spaces and thoughtfully local choices. Each hotel is designed as a natural extension of its neighborhood and delivers a fresh approach to hospitality and the guest experience. There are currently about 10 Canopy properties open around the world and more than 40 under development across 13 countries and territories.

The Bangkok property will be less than an hour’s drive from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and a short walk from the Asok BTS Skytrain, as well as less than two kilometers from several major embassies. Guests will appreciate the close proximity to popular shopping malls such as The Emporium Bangkok, EmQuartier Shopping Mall and Terminal 21. Public space at the hotel will include an all-day restaurant, a bar, a fitness center and a swimming pool.

As a lifestyle brand that embraces its locale, Canopy provides guests with authentic and unique local experiences. At check-in, guests are greeted with an open, welcoming space at Canopy Central and a locally sourced welcome gift.

Each property is designed as a natural extension of its neighborhood with connection to local art, food, drink and culture. Hotel team members are called Enthusiasts, Canopy’s local experts  who connect guests to the best of the surrounding area, offering recommendations for restaurants, shops, running paths and more.

Hilton currently operates nine properties across four brands in Thailand including the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and DoubleTree by Hilton. Over the next three to five years, the company will open five additional hotels in the country, including the DoubleTree by Hilton Bangkok Ploenchit and DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai which are scheduled for late 2019.
