The expansion comes as Rompho Property, part of the AssetWise Public Company Limited group, advances its existing hotel development plans in partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts. As this Thailand Hotel News report highlights, the establishment of additional hotel-focused companies raises the possibility of more properties joining the developer’s pipeline, particularly in Nai Yang, Kamala, and Phuket Old Town.
Four New Subsidiaries Scheduled for November 2026
According to a disclosure submitted to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, Rompho Property’s Executive Committee approved the establishment of four subsidiaries during its October 12, 2026, meeting. The companies are expected to be incorporated in November 2026.
Three will focus on hotel real estate development: Title Hotel Nai Yang 2 Co., Ltd., Title Hotel Kamala 2 Co., Ltd., and Title Hotel Old Town Co., Ltd.
The fourth, Oxy Relax & Spa Co., Ltd., will operate in the onsen and health spa sector, potentially creating new opportunities for the group to participate in Phuket’s expanding wellness tourism industry.
Each subsidiary will have registered capital of 1 million baht, comprising 10,000 ordinary shares valued at 100 baht each.
The companies will operate under The Title Hotel and Resort Co., Ltd., in which Rompho Property holds a 99.99% stake. This subsidiary will own 99.97% of each newly established business.
The appointments to their boards include Veerapan Viphanphong, Nattapol Lakhanalawan, Drong Hutajudha, and Nithinan Viphanphong.
Rompho Property confirmed that the establishments will be financed through existing working capital and do not constitute related-party or significant transactions under the applicable capital market regulations.
Existing Partnership with IHG Includes Two Phuket Hotels
The latest announcement follows Rompho Property’s previously disclosed partnership with international hospitality operator IHG Hotels & Resorts.
The collaboration includes the development of voco Phuket Bangtao, a 175-room upscale lifestyle hotel scheduled to open in 2029.
Located in Bangtao, one of Phuket’s established tourism and luxury residential destinations, the property will feature contemporary accommodations and hospitality facilities designed for international leisure travelers.
Another project, Hotel Indigo Phuket Nai Yang Beach, is scheduled to open in 2030 with 170 rooms.
Situated near Phuket International Airport and Nai Yang Beach, the hotel will emphasize neighborhood-inspired experiences and local cultural influences, consistent with the Hotel Indigo brand.
Together, these two announced developments will introduce 345 internationally branded hotel rooms to Phuket’s accommodation market.
The establishment of three additional hotel subsidiaries now suggests that Rompho Property may be considering opportunities beyond these confirmed projects.
Nai Yang, Kamala, and Phuket Old Town Emerge as Potential Targets
The names of the newly established hotel subsidiaries provide an interesting indication of where Rompho Property may be directing its attention.
Nai Yang is already associated with the group’s upcoming Hotel Indigo development, while Kamala remains an attractive destination for upscale resorts and luxury tourism.
Phuket Old Town represents a different hospitality market, attracting visitors interested in heritage architecture, cultural attractions, local cuisine, and boutique accommodations.
The inclusion of these locations suggests that the developer may be exploring different accommodation concepts rather than concentrating exclusively on beachfront resorts.
However, the company has not announced specific properties, construction budgets, room numbers, or opening dates for the new subsidiaries. It also remains unclear whether any future hotels will operate under IHG brands or involve additional hospitality partners.
Wellness Tourism Becomes Another Business Opportunity
The establishment of Oxy Relax & Spa Co., Ltd. introduces a potentially important new dimension to Rompho Property’s diversification strategy.
Wellness tourism has become an increasingly prominent segment of the international hospitality industry, with travelers seeking relaxation, rejuvenation, and health-focused experiences alongside traditional vacations.
Onsen-inspired bathing facilities and spa treatments could complement future hotel operations while potentially generating revenue from visitors who are not staying at the properties.
Nevertheless, Rompho Property has not disclosed whether its wellness subsidiary will develop standalone facilities or operate spas within hotels.
Phuket’s Hospitality Market Faces Growing Competition
Rompho Property’s expansion comes amid continued investment in Phuket’s hotel industry.
Recent market data has identified 49 hotel developments representing approximately 9,128 rooms in the island’s development pipeline.
This expanding supply presents opportunities for developers while increasing competition for guests, particularly in popular resort destinations.
International branding, distinctive guest experiences, and diversified hospitality services could therefore become increasingly important in determining the commercial success of new properties.
A Bigger Hospitality Portfolio Could Be Emerging
Rompho Property’s latest corporate expansion indicates that the developer is positioning itself for a potentially larger role in Phuket’s hospitality industry. Although the four new subsidiaries do not yet represent confirmed hotel construction projects, their establishment provides a foundation for future investments.
With two IHG-branded hotels already planned and additional hotel and wellness businesses being established, the company appears determined to diversify beyond residential development. Further announcements will reveal whether these preparations translate into new hotel projects across Phuket.
