Thailand Hotel: Phuket’s property and hospitality sectors continue to attract large-scale investment as developers move to capitalize on the island’s surging tourism and international business demand. One of the latest projects to emerge is a major mixed-use development led by CV Group that will combine office spaces, retail facilities, residential elements, and a new luxury boutique hotel. The company recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for “NEXUS,” a development valued at more than 3 billion baht and positioned as a central component of a much larger master plan designed to reshape the island’s commercial landscape called the Synthesis Ark Phuket.

The ceremonial launch was attended by key executives including Mr. Apirak Wanich, Chairman of CV Group, and Mrs. Chantip Wanich, alongside Mr. Phusit Rattanagul Serirengrit and other senior representatives. The NEXUS project will serve as a flagship component of the first phase of the Synthesis Ark Phuket initiative. During the ceremony, the leadership emphasized the strategic role the development will play in supporting Phuket’s growing service economy. In fact, midway through the event briefing, this Thailand Hotel news report learned that the mixed-use project will also feature a 70-room luxury hotel, designed to cater to business travelers, international visitors, and executives working within the surrounding commercial hub.
According to Mr. Apirak Wanich, the project represents CV Group’s commitment to investing in Phuket’s long-term economic potential. The NEXUS complex forms part of the wider Synthesis Ark Phuket development, a massive 50-billion-baht pilot city project located on 491 rai of land in the Koh Kaew area within Sri Sunthorn Subdistrict, Thalang District. The broader plan aims to create a fully integrated urban ecosystem combining business infrastructure, lifestyle destinations, and residential communities.

Architecturally, the NEXUS complex has been designed by RSP Architects with a concept inspired by the natural beauty of Phuket and the Andaman Sea. The master plan reflects the image of scattered island formations, translating this visual theme into a cluster of distinctive buildings. Each structure within the complex is designed with its own identity while remaining connected through cohesive urban planning principles.
To deliver the project, CV Group has assembled an international team of specialists. Engineering work is being handled by Stonehenge, while landscape architecture is led by P Landscape. The development places strong emphasis on sustainability and environmental integration. More than 20 percent of the total land area will be allocated to green spaces, featuring native plant species that reflect the natural character of Phuket while providing shaded communal areas for workers, residents, and visitors.

Beyond its commercial ambitions, the project has already received international recognition. The master plan for Synthesis Ark Phuket was honored at the Asia Architecture and Design Awards 2025, winning in the category of Asia’s Best Master Planning. The award highlights the project’s innovative approach to urban design and reinforces Phuket’s growing reputation as a destination for world-class development.
While construction of the NEXUS complex has officially begun, the hospitality component is still in its planning stage. CV Group confirmed that discussions are currently underway with several internationally recognized hotel brands and management companies. The developer has not yet finalized which operator will oversee the 70-key luxury property, but the hotel is expected to become a prominent addition to Phuket’s upscale accommodation market once the project reaches completion.
With Phuket continuing to evolve into a regional business and tourism hub, developments such as NEXUS demonstrate how integrated projects are shaping the next phase of the island’s growth. By combining commercial offices, lifestyle facilities, residential spaces, and a boutique hotel within a single environment, the project reflects the broader shift toward mixed-use urban planning that supports both economic expansion and sustainable community living.
