Thailand Hotel News report notes that the company has positioned experienced hospitality professionals in key roles to enhance both sales and revenue capabilities while ensuring long-term sustainable growth.
New Director of Sales and Marketing for Thailand and Laos
Ms. Thanyarat Pengtangmo has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for Thailand and Laos, taking charge of shaping commercial strategies across Ascott’s expanding network of serviced residences and hospitality brands. Her responsibilities include strengthening brand positioning, developing new market opportunities, and driving sales and marketing initiatives that enhance the group’s overall performance.
Ms. Thanyarat brings extensive regional and international hospitality expertise to the role. Prior to assuming her new position, she served as Commercial Director overseeing Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar for Ascott. Her career also includes senior leadership positions with several prominent hotel groups, including Accor Group, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, and ONYX Hospitality Group.
Her diverse experience across multiple hospitality markets and brands is expected to provide valuable insight as Ascott sharpens its commercial strategy in Thailand and Laos, particularly as the region’s travel sector continues to rebound strongly.
Speaking about her new appointment, Ms. Thanyarat expressed enthusiasm about contributing to the next stage of the company’s regional growth.
“I am delighted to take on this key role at a time of continued growth for Ascott in Thailand and Laos,” she said. “I am committed to strengthening the Ascott brand, leveraging our diversified portfolio to explore new business opportunities, and driving sustainable future growth.”
Revenue Strategy Strengthened with New Leadership
Further reinforcing the leadership team, Ascott has appointed Trishna Kolipakam as Director of Revenue Management for Thailand and Laos. In this role, she will oversee revenue strategy, pricing optimization, and performance analytics designed to support the group’s continued expansion.
Trishna joins Ascott with an impressive background in revenue management and strategic hospitality operations. She previously worked with Marriott International, most recently serving as Director of Revenue Strategy for Vietnam. During her tenure, she also managed regional revenue operations across several key Indian cities including Pune, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, all known for highly competitive hospitality markets.
Her experience navigating complex hotel markets and implementing revenue-driven strategies is expected to help Ascott further refine its operational efficiency and profitability across its regional portfolio.
“The rapid growth and diversification of brands within the Ascott portfolio represent a very attractive opportunity,” Trishna said. “I intend to collaborate with all teams to systematically drive revenue strategies to create strong growth and maximize returns in all markets where we operate.”
Leadership Expansion Supports Growing Portfolio
Kanit Saengmookda, General Manager for Thailand and Laos at Ascott, emphasized that the appointments come at a critical stage in the company’s regional expansion.
Currently, Ascott manages 32 projects under seven brands in Thailand and Laos, representing more than 7,000 rooms. The company also has additional development plans underway, underscoring its commitment to strengthening its hospitality presence in both markets.
According to Kanit, building a capable leadership structure is essential to supporting this rapid growth and ensuring operational excellence across the portfolio.
“This strengthening of our executive team comes at a time when our business is steadily growing,” he said. “We are confident that the expertise of both Thanyarat and Trishna will play a vital role in supporting Ascott’s continued success in Thailand and Laos.”
The leadership reinforcement highlights Ascott’s broader strategy of building a robust organizational foundation that supports expansion while maintaining strong commercial performance. By combining sales innovation with sophisticated revenue management, the company aims to unlock new market opportunities and strengthen its competitive position across Southeast Asia’s hospitality landscape.
